What is total weight?

Total weight is the finished weight of an artificial-grass product, including yarn and backing components. Because sellers may label weight specifications differently, the stated basis should be confirmed before comparing products.

A total-weight figure can look larger than face weight without indicating that a product contains more visible yarn. Buyers need to know exactly which layers are included.

How it is used

A heavier finished product may use more material, but total weight alone does not predict installed price, useful life, or suitability. Installation conditions and the full product specification remain more important.
